Ipheion uniflorum

Ipheion uniflorum is a lovely early spring flowering deciduous bulb. 

The star shaped flowers are a pale whitish blue and are sweetly scented. It grows to a height and spread of about 15cm. The leaves are narrow and long.

Grow in a well drained soil in a sunny, but sheltered position. 

Suitable for the edge of beds and borders, gravel and rock gardens and containers.
