Rhodiola pachyclados

This succulent has glaucous foliage and white/cream star shaped flowers in summer. Over winter, the foliage fades, and reveals brown bracts.

When flowering the height is about 8cm, and the plant spreads to about 30cm. It thrives in a sunny position.

It is closely related to sedum and used to be known as Sedum pachyclados.

This plant makes a good container plant or can be used for gravel or rock gardens. It is also useful for edging in flower beds.
